Get supportive help on your problems and struggles in the comfort and privacy of your own home.  Those certain words that can be difficult to say in person can be much easier to type.  Reading about your problems can help you feel more in control of them than talking about them.  That, plus saving the time and expense of commuting to an office, makes email therapy a preferred, affordable convenient alternative for many.

Diana L. Carter, M.S., L.P.C. is a warm, caring, skilled and experienced
Licensed Professional Counselor who would like the chance to help you.

All replies will be within one business day of receipt.  Strict confidentiality guaranteed.

--- IN CASE OF EMERGENCY ---

CAUTION:

If you are so upset about your situation that you are at immediate risk to hurt yourself or somebody else, DO NOT WAIT FOR A REPLY FROM AN EMAIL THERAPIST!

You are legally and morally obligated to get IMMEDIATE help. For help on suicidal feelings any time of day or night, call 1-800-784-2433. If you still feel upset after that call, or you feel like hurting somebody else, call 9-1-1 for an ambulance to the nearest hospital.  It's risky to go any other way, regardless of who else is present, unless you can give a very heartfelt and reliable contract to avoid destructive behavior at all times.
